Stacy Friesen

Dr. Stacy Friesen, DVM, MS, DACVS-SA, Surgery, earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the veterinary school at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. After graduation, she spent a year at Michinage State University where she completed a rotating internship. Dr. Friesen then finished a three-year residency at Kansas State University. She specialized in surgery as a unique way to serve those around her and to be there for her community in a time of need.  She joined the Mission Veterinary Emergency and Specialty team in August of 2020. In the spring of 2022, she successfully completed her boards and was given a new Diplomate Status by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. 

Dr. Friesen lives in Olathe, KS, with her husband Randy Friesen, two dogs, Bailey and Gracie, and cat, Alice. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, hosting friends, being involved at her church, and being active outdoors.
