Molly Roach
Dr. Roach is a dedicated veterinarian from Shawnee, Kansas. Driving past her old high school every day on the way to work is a reminder of her roots and the journey she has taken in her career. Dr. Roach’s academic and professional journey is deeply intertwined with Kansas State University (K-State), where she completed both her undergraduate and veterinary studies. Born and raised a Wildcat, Dr. Roach’s allegiance to K-State was so strong that she didn't apply to any other colleges or veterinary schools.
From a young age, Dr. Roach harbored a desire to become a veterinarian, initially driven by her love for animals. As she grew older, her interest expanded to encompass a broader love for medicine and the sciences.
Entering veterinary school to become a mixed animal vet, particularly enjoying work with cows, Dr. Roach’s career path took a decisive turn during her time in the K-State ICU. The complex and challenging cases he encountered there ignited a fervent interest in critical care. By her fourth year, she had developed a passion for this specialized field. Her commitment to continuous learning and growth steered her towards emergency medicine, where she finds fulfillment in addressing her patients' urgent and diverse needs.
Dr. Roach joined our team in 2023 as an ER Mentee within our ER Immerse program. This mentorship program within emergency medicine has been instrumental in furthering her expertise and skills.
Dr. Roach's unwavering dedication to her patients, combined with her profound love for animal care and medical science, makes her an invaluable team member. Dr. Roach's approach to veterinary medicine is driven by a desire to help both animals and their owners, ensuring that every patient receives comprehensive and compassionate care.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Roach enjoys connecting with the local community and often reflects on his journey from a young animal lover to a skilled veterinarian. Her ongoing commitment to learning and excellence in veterinary care inspires those around her.
