Dr. Connor Pyne was born and raised in Southern California. Having early exposure to veterinary medicine, Dr. Pyne spent his childhood working alongside his parents at their family-owned practice before pursuing a veterinary career of his own.

He traveled to the University of Missouri-Columbia (Mizzou) for his undergraduate and veterinary degrees while working in a swine farm, feline genetics lab, and small animal ICU. While at Mizzou, Connor developed a passion for minor animal surgery and assisted with the completion of several research projects with our very own Dr. Jill Luther and Dr. Tony Mann.

He continued his education at Oregon State University in a rotating internship and recently finished at Louisiana State University in a surgical internship. Dr. Pyne is working to be board certified in minor animal surgery.

In his free time, Dr. Pyne enjoys being outdoors, bingeing tv shows, and being with his fur babies, Porter and Mildred.

Dr. Pyne is now one of our three surgery residents, and we look forward to watching him learn and grow as a veterinary surgeon throughout his residency.
